Kootenai River Brewing Company hosting Oktoberfest celebration

Kootenai River Brewing Company is hosting its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 27, filling the day with family-friendly activities, contests, and live entertainment.
Festivities kick off with games like cornhole hole in the hop yard, along with face painting from noon to 3 p.m. and pumpkin and gourd painting from noon to 4 p.m. Guests can also enjoy hair braiding and are encouraged to dress in their best festive attire — think dirndls and lederhosen.
A yodeling contest and raffle prizes will add to the excitement of the event. Local musician Jacob Robin will perform live in the hop yard at 5 p.m. and the fire pit will be lit at 7 p.m.
