KETTLE FALLS — Senior Kylie Calderone ran to a time of 21 minutes, 19.8 seconds to finish an impressive sixth out of 73 runners at the Can-Am Invitational held Saturday at the Old Kettle Falls Picnic Area near Lake Roosevelt.

Junior Gia Roemer (31st, 23:52), sophomore Cheyenne Schutte (39th, 25:18), sophomore Abigail Huggins (55th, 26:43) and freshman Marissa Pruitt (58th, 27:09) rounded out the top five for the Lady Badgers, which placed eighth out of nine scoring teams with a score of 158 points.

For the boys, freshman Jonathan Bollschweiler was the top Badger, placing 24th out of 81 runners with a time of 19 minutes, 6.1 seconds. Freshman Brecken Miller (35th, 19:22), freshman Gordon Woelfle (42nd, 19:52), senior Micah Thomson (52nd, 20:49) and sophomore Brock Tuma (58th, 21:29) rounded out the scorers for Bonners Ferry, which placed seventh out of 12 scoring teams with 188 points.

Woelfle and Tuma's times were new personal records.

Bonners Ferry will head to the Rivers Bend Golf Course for the Thompson Falls Invite this Saturday.
