Someone in a camper reportedly dumped the contents of the sewage tank all over the ground of a location where someone called the Kalispell Police Department, wanting them kicked off the property when the vehicle left. The caller said they were trying to get a license plate from security footage and the credit card information used.

A welding pickup caught fire at a construction site north of town on Thursday. While the fire hadn’t spread to the building, there was reportedly heavy machinery around and a truck with a compressed oxygen tank.

The fire was extinguished with no injuries reported and the scene was turned over to the general contractor. Officers spoke to workers onsite who said they were welding a garage door next to their vehicle when sparks flew into the truck bed and it caught fire. They attempted to put it out but eventually evacuated and called 911.

About five children reportedly ran in front of someone, who almost hit them, and congregated on the stairs in front of their apartment, saying they couldn’t go home because their parents were “doing meth.”

An employee called officers asking them to move people along who allegedly set up camp in the parking lot using a tarp and crates. The responding officer made contact with a woman who said she was letting her 12 cats and a bunch of kittens “get air” and would be moving along “right meow.”
