Ascent Counseling, LLC has expanded our practice to include Psychiatric Services. We are pleased to announce that Peter Gourley, ARNP has joined our team of licensed professionals.  

As a graduate of Gonzaga University, BYU, and Cal State Long Beach, Gourley holds graduate level and advanced post-graduate degrees. He is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, including Adult Psychiatric Services. In addition, Peter actively engages in ongoing professional education and training, making him a highly sought after practitioner.  

Due to his expert diagnostic skills and comprehensive treatment approaches, Gourley has successfully helped countless individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including attention deficit disorder (ADHD), bipolar mood disorder, schizophrenia, major depression, anxiety disorders, and other mental health conditions. With the use of evidence-based practices and an individualized treatment approach, Gourley identifies the specific needs of each patient, which results in favorable outcomes, increased hope, and improved mental health for the adults, adolescents and children that he treats.
