Glacier Park College Soccer Showcase announces the Spring Collegiate Exhibition Event at Legends Stadium Kalispell on April 11. Game day will have free admission for all spectators.

The Showcase is a special day of soccer featuring three premier collegiate matchups. Flathead Rapids Youth Soccer and Glacier Surf will play friendly matches between collegiate games and food trucks will be on site.

Evergreen State College plays Carroll College at 11 a.m. Spokane Falls Community College plays Evergreen at 3 p.m., and Carroll meets Spokane at 6 p.m.

To celebrate the local soccer community, several youth clubs will host friendly exhibitions in the windows between the college games. This is a unique opportunity for young athletes to play in a collegiate atmosphere and for fans to enjoy a full day of high-level competition.

A player’s clinic will be hosted by the men’s Carroll College team on Sunday from 12-2 p.m. at Legends Stadium for boys and girls aged 5-18. Cost is $50 a participant.

Walt Nichols and Finley Sundberg, Columbia Falls High School alumni are taking their game to the collegiate level and coming home to showcase their talent.

“This is the first year we have offered a spring event and are excited to welcome a big crowd for free,” said O’Brien Byrd, president of Glacier Park Soccer Showcase. “We are thrilled to bring this level of competition to the Flathead. The players clinic offers participants a unique opportunity to sharpen their skills under the guidance of collegiate coaches and athletes."
