Police Calls: Open container, public urination

March 15 

There is, reportedly, an ongoing issue with a transient male making employees of a business on Central Avenue uncomfortable. 

A dog who had been reported lost was found. 

About six people were seen driving in grass areas of the Armory and tearing up the grass. 

The driver of a very dirty, small vehicle was seen swerving on Baker Avenue. 

March 16 

The caller said his trash service had been stopped due to a large mattress that was dumped at the location. He was reporting trash being left at the location and also said he needed help moving the mattress. 

The driver of a Jeep was unable to navigate a corner on Iron Horse Drive and hit a guard rail and stone support column. He was brought into the security office, then fled on foot. 

The banging sounds coming from the cab of a truck that was parked for several hours was the driver trying to get his steering wheel unstuck. 

There was a complaint of noise coming from a house on Karrow Avenue until 3 a.m. one night and again the next night. 

March 17 

A car alarm was going off for 90 minutes near Woodland Place and Wisconsin Avenue. It was unclear which car was blaring. 

A female at a location on Central Avenue was trying to pass a fake ID as a real one and was making a scene. 

There were 17 traffic stops on March 17. 

March 18 

A dog was seen walking against traffic on Highway 93. 

A dump trailer was returned. 

A dog was found and returned to the owner. 

March 19 

An apparently intoxicated male with an open container urinated on a rock in front of the caller’s window on Central Avenue. 

A male who looked like one who had tried to break into an apartment with an axe a few weeks ago was seen creeping in the parking lot. 

The caller thought a couple heard shaking a spray can were suspicious as they walked away, leaving their vehicle, but it was determined they were only going to a party.
