Sharon Joy Alexander passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family, in the house that she and her husband Raymond Alexander shared in Superior, MT.

Sharon was born, Sharon Joy Thompson on March 10,1941 in Kellogg, Idaho. She lived a vibrant life filled with love for her family, good friends, adventures, endless laughter and a deep love for Jehovah God. She sang beautifully, had an artistic flair and canned everything she could get her hands on.

More than anything, Sharon had a huge imagination that could bring to life anything the kids dreamed up. She taught everyone—young and old—how to play, how to laugh, and even how to get into just the right amount of trouble.

Sharon is survived by: Her two loving Sisters; Lois Mohr and Terri Meeks, her four children; Jim Lagerquist, Roberta Fenn, Tina Alexander and Muriah Alexander, her seven Grandchildren; Allison Queen, Shannon Lagerquist, Tiphanie Erickson, Alexander Auer, Nathaniel Auer, Trevor Blake Erickson and Mary Derhaag, her Great Grandchildren; Madison Dhooghe, Scarlett Turpin, Boady Dhooghe, Wyatt Turpin, Emerilynn Ruiz, Signey Auer, Murphie Auer and her Great-Great-Grandson, Sawyer Roberts.

Sharon’s warmth, creativity, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the stories, songs, and playful adventures she shared with her family.
