The junior from Post Falls High and Community Colleges of Spokane hit a two-run single in the sixth inning, and finished 2 for 5 with four RBIs and two runs scored for the Warriors in a 21-3 victory over the College of Idaho on Sunday at Harris Field. Zeller is batting .308 with 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored for Lewis-Clark State (26-3, 18-3 Cascade Collegiate Conference), ranked seventh in NAIA.

Stockton, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound junior pitcher from Coeur d'Alene High, has appeared in seven games this season for the Hornets (11-18), striking out seven and 30 batters faced. Sacramento State faces Utah Tech in a Western Athletic Conference series starting today at 5 p.m. in St. George, Utah. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Van Volkinburg, a freshman from Post Falls High, finished fourth in the women's 400-meter dash in 1 minute, .70 seconds on March 20 in the Sam Adams Classsic at Whitworth University in Spokane. Van Volkinburg also was sixth in the 200 in 26.66.
