Rotary Club to host Easter egg hunt at fairgrounds

The Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry will host its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 4, at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

The hunt will begin promptly at 11 a.m., and organizers encourage families to arrive on time, noting that eggs are typically collected within minutes.

Approximately 2,000 eggs, including real and filled plastic eggs, will be hidden for participants. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand to hand out special eggs containing coupons and pose for photos with children. The Easter Bunny will have 100 special eggs.

Participants will be divided into age groups: 1-2 years old, 3-5, 6-7, 8-9, and 10 and older. Adults may assist children in the youngest group.

New this year, one golden egg will be hidden in each age group, with prize opportunities for those who find them.

Face painting will also be available, provided by Rotarian Sarah Fischer.
