Buttercup Run – 10 a.m. April 4 at Arlee Schools; register for 10k, 5k and one-mile courses at runsignup.com/Race/MT/Arlee/ButtercupRun. The annual event is a fundraiser hosted by Friends of Arlee Schools in partnership with CSKT Tribal Health and CSKT Wildland Recreation departments. All proceeds support scholarships for Arlee High School seniors and provide mini-grants to local teachers for school supplies.

Paul Revere’s Ride – 4 p.m. April 7 at North Lake County Library in Polson; July Fourth marks 250 years since the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Discuss the pivotal rides that mobilized the militia to begin the American Revolution through the book “The Ride Paul Revere and the Night that Saved America” by Kostya Kennedy. Register at the library to checkout a copy or bring your own.

Love and Logic - Early childhood parenting made fun – 6 p.m. April 8 at Pablo Early Head Start, 35639 Stanger Loop, Pablo; Join the CSKT Early Childhood Services and CASA/Youth Connection for a five-week parenting program designed for parents and educators of children ages 0-6, at no cost. Flathead Lake Cherry Growers Annual Meeting – 9 a.m. April 11 at the Yellow Bay Community Clubhouse, 23429 Hwy. 35; the organization’s 88th annual meeting is open to anyone interested in growing quality Flathead cherries. Cowboy Ball – 5:30 p.m. April 17 at the Polson Fairgrounds; 34th annual western-themed fundraiser for Polson Fairgrounds Inc. includes a social hour, prime-rib banquet, silent auction, live auction, cocktails and dancing. Cheerful Heart Cancer Support Group – 10-11 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the third-floor Leahy Conference Room at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson; pastor Matthew Connolly leads the group, which welcomes those recently diagnosed or undergoing treatment, cancer survivors, and/or family members.
