Game 1: Lakeside 10, Bonners Ferry 0
The Bonners Ferry baseball team recorded four hits but failed to score in a ten-run away loss to the Lakeside Eagles on March 31.
Gavin Rider went 2 for 2 with a double while playing center field, but the rest of the team failed to fire. Ronin Hanson picked up his fifth hit in three games with a single and Jake Solt also singled.
Stryder Liermann had the only steal for the Badgers. Ty Schrock started the game on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings with two strikeouts, while only allowing two hits. Noah Miller pitched the fifth and final inning for Bonners Ferry.
The Eagles started the game hot, scoring five runs in the first two innings. After a scoreless third inning, Lakeside tacked on three more runs in the bottom of the fourth as the home team pulled away. Two more runs came across in the bottom of the fifth, ending the game prematurely.

Bonners Ferry could not get going offensively in this game, as they only recorded one hit and were shut out in both doubleheaders.
Kordale Burt recorded a double, Jack Woods walked and Tyson Dickson was hit by a pitch. However, the Badgers only struck out four times, consistently putting balls in play.
The game was close for the first two innings, as Lakeside was only able to score one run, thanks to Stryder Liermann, Bonners Ferry’s starting pitcher, who threw 2.1 innings and struck out one.
However, the final three innings were high scoring for the Eagles, who tacked on nine runs to finish the game in just five innings.
Gavin Rider came in and threw two innings, finishing with four strikeouts. Gordon Woelfle was the team’s last pitcher.
