What oil shortage? The U.S. has plenty available

Recently at a friend's home, I was introduced to a geologist from Alaska who works in the oil industry; he's a really very smart guy. 

He told me that here in the United States, including Alaska of course, we have over 1,000 years' supply of oil available. That being the case why are we so concerned  with the Straits of Hormuz and what those idiots in Iran are doing. I agree with taking out all of their nuclear facilities because these people are nuts and would send nuclear bombs to the United States of America, referring to us as the Great Satan, and to other countries. 

All they want to do is kill people including some of their own citizens who disagree with their government. At least President Donald Trump is doing something about these Iranian idiots, which is something past presidents never did. Barack Obama and his staff sent millions and millions of U.S. dollars in cash to those idiots in Iran, Bill Clinton also did nothing and, of course, Joe Biden did nothing ever except allow 200,000 illegal alients to enter our country without checking any of them.

So, President Trump, please wipe out all of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, concentrate on using all of that oil we have available, lower our cost of living, bring all of our troops back home, and tell all of those Democrats in Congress who have stopped paying the wages to all of the TSA employees, Coast Guard and others, and who want to reopen our borders and allow illegals to vote to go to heck.
