COEUR d’ALENE — History came full circle when Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty celebrated the grand opening of its new downtown office within The Coeur d’Alene Resort Plaza.
Situated between The Coeur d’Alene Resort and the Sherman Tower that’s currently under construction, the new office represents a meeting of the past and the future for Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty. It occupies the same spot where founder and broker Gary Schneidmiller launched his career as a fledgling real estate agent decades ago.
“The location we now occupy is an incredible testament to the legacy created by the Hagadones, and we are proud to be a part of it,” said President and CEO Mark Johnson.
Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty has served the Inland Northwest for more than 50 years.
Now the site where it all began — a beacon for the firm’s specialized residential, commercial and luxury divisions — is marked with the name of the company Schneidmiller built into a regional powerhouse, consistently ranked in the top 1% of the global Coldwell Banker network.
The expansion was made possible through a partnership with the Hagadone Corporation.
“We are grateful for our long-standing, close relationship with the Hagadone family,” Schneidmiller said. “The Schneidmillers and Hagadones have enjoyed a wonderful friendship for generations.”
The Feb. 27 grand opening event at the state-of-the-art facility drew an overflow crowd of local business and elected leaders, friends and community members. The atmosphere, Schneidmiller said, was one of “humble stewardship,” the firm’s philosophy that prioritizes long-term relationships over industry “churn.”
The new office is the first impression for visitors entering the downtown corridor, with a view of Lake Coeur d’Alene and The Resort on one side and the iconic stretch of Sherman Avenue on the other.
In addition to the new Plaza office, Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty will continue to operate its popular kiosk location inside The Resort Shops, ensuring a seamless full-service experience seven days a week.
“The Hagadone name is synonymous with the world-class quality of our city, and we are honored to operate within their premier facilities,” said Vice President and COO Robert Brickett.
