Linda 'Sue' Taylor, 75

Linda “Sue” Taylor, 75, passed away March 30, 2026, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, due to a stroke.

Sue was born June 28, 1950, in Kellogg, Idaho, to Floyd and Nina McCoy. She grew up in Kellogg and Wardner, Idaho, and graduated with the Class of 1968.

Sue married David Taylor of Kellogg on Feb. 6, 1971; together they raised two children: a daughter, Julie, and a son, Garren. On Feb. 6, 2026, they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.

Sue’s first real job was at DB’s Café in Kellogg. During the '80s, she was a travel agent for Eastern Airlines in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sue loved to lavish her family with gifts at Christmas and on birthdays.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Nina McCoy; a sister, Juanita Bohannon, and her husband, Phil Bohannon; and a sister-in-law, Mary Jean McCoy.

She is survived by her husband, David; daughter Julie Jensen of Post Falls, Idaho; son Garren Taylor of Rose Lake, Idaho; three granddaughters: Victoria (Tori) Taylor and Joe Johnson of Boise, Idaho; Alexandria (Lexi) Taylor of Rose Lake, Idaho; Gabriella (Abbi) Taylor of Post Falls, Idaho; great-grandsons Ezra Johnson and Silas Johnson both of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Wayne McCoy of Post Falls, Idaho and Jay McCoy and Nancy of San Jacinto, Calif.

Sue loved the Lord with all her heart and met him in paradise upon her passing.
