60th Wedding Anniversary

Tad & Sue Leach

Tad and Sue were sweethearts at Evanston Township High School (Evanston, Ill.), Tad Class of '64 and Sue Class of '65. They were married March 12, 1966. The family consists of four children; Dick Leach, Tom Leach, Charlie Leach and Mandy O'Halloran; nine grandchildren; Parker, Trevor, Brian and Cody Leach, Casey Olsen, Aidan, Keagan, Kyle and Avery O'Halloran, two great grandchildren; Aubrie Leach-Martinez and Luke Olsen. Three of the children and five of the nine grandchildren live in the area,

Tad retired as chief of police of the Lincolnwood, Ill., Police Department and they moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1993, where Tad taught in the Law Enforcement Program at North Idaho College for 13 years. After a short retirement, Tad took the position of undersheriff with the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and retired in 2011. 

They still live in the house they built on Mica Bay when they first moved here, and enjoy the family and life!
