Sandpoint Lions sees hundreds at annual Easter egg hunt
CHLOE COCHRAN | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 1 month, 1 week AGO
Easter is the only time of year when it's socially acceptable to put all your eggs in one basket, and then eat what's inside them.
That spirit was on full display on a sunny April 4 morning, when hundreds of children gathered near Lakeview Park for what may have been the fastest Easter egg hunt of the year.
Each egg, packed by Sandpoint High School's JustServe Club, didn't last long once a Sandpoint Fire Department truck signaled the start of the hunt.
In just 90 seconds, thousands of eggs placed by Sandpoint Lions Club volunteers had mostly vanished. And in four minutes, the last one was found.
Blink, and it was over.
