Former Flathead basketball standout Kennedy Moore is entering the NCAA transfer portal after two seasons at Wake Forest, seeking a new opportunity with two years of eligibility remaining.

Moore announced the decision in a statement via Instagram on March 31, writing:

“Being a part of the Wake Forest program has meant a lot to me. I’m thankful for the opportunity, the experiences, and the people I've met along the way. After taking time to step back and think about what is best for me and my future, I've decided to enter the transfer portal.”

At Wake Forest, Moore steadily carved out a bigger role with the Demon Deacons. As a sophomore, she played in 32 games with 10 starts, averaging 2.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, highlighted by a career-high 15 points against Morgan State. In her freshman season, she appeared in 22 games, scoring her first collegiate points against Campbell and finishing with a season-high six points against Louisville.

In high school, Moore was a key piece of Flathead’s run to the state title game in 2023; that 2022-23 season she was named All-State after averaging 17.1 points and 8.2 rebounds a game. She earned three All-Conference honors while leading her team in scoring and rebounding from her sophomore through senior seasons.

A multi-sport standout, Moore added two All-Conference selections in volleyball. In track and field she made the State AA podium three times in the high jump, capped by a second-place finish in 2024.
