The challenges of a modern political dialogue

One doesn’t have to look far in today’s climate to see that the personal behaviors Mom and Dad warned you not to commit are all about us, aren’t they?

Who would have thought that pure fabrications would be so permissible, to say nothing of pervasive, in today’s campaigns and rallies, to gain political advantage whether federal or state. In this regard we have already seen, right here in District 1's Idaho Senate race a year and a half ago, how utterly successful deception can be. No matter what your inclinations, outlook and wishes for the future, no matter whether Republican or Democrat, everyone can and should agree that sincere honesty needs a serious return to our culture.

I have investigated Jane Sauter’s campaign for House Seat 1A; visited her and her opponent’s campaign websites, and I have talked with her. You owe it to yourself to do the same as you plan to vote. I find her stated direction, and what she will adhere to, to be no different than what’s in her heart.
