Western named finance fair essay winner

Brayden Western was named the Selkirk Association of Realtors' Senior Finance Fair essay winner and presented a $500 scholarship. The Senior Finance Fair is an annual event sponsored by Sandpoint High School, STCU, Selkirk Association of Realtors and Horizon Credit Union.

Each year, graduating seniors in attendance are asked to write a one-page essay about three things they learned from attending the finance fair, which focuses on real-life financial scenarios and circumstances that students will face after graduation. 

Western intends on attending college at Brigham Young University in Utah after serving a two-year mission.
