The Moats Community Park in Alberton had parents, grandparent, aunts and uncles, cousins and every type of relative on hand to watch the energy and excitement of children looking for Easter eggs.
The event has been hosted for years by the Alberton Ridge Runners Saddle Club who are involved in other community events, but this one is their biggest. Volunteers were on hand to direct egg-hunters and give out bigger prizes that were inside eggs after all of them were gathered and opened.
The hunt itself was over in five minutes, but the presentation of awards kept people socializing longer on a beautiful spring morning.
