ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Colton Kuprienko, Priest River Baseball

This week's Athlete of the Week is Colton Kuprienko of Priest River Baseball.

A 5-foot-8-inch junior catcher, Colton went 4-for-4, which included a two-run double and a pair of RBI singles, in the final game of the Spartans' recent three-game sweep of Grangeville in which they won by scores of 18-6, 5-1 and 16-12. Across the series, the standout backstop compiled a 6-for-12 effort to go along with three runs scored, six RBIs, two walks and three stolen bases while commanding Priest River pitchers to a total of 35 strikeouts.
