Defend our democracy

Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense - not War - must be removed.  His erratic behavior, volatile speeches and disgusting decisions reveal a lack of military competence and his core Christian Nationalist beliefs, misogyny, and racism. 

Sponsoring prayer meetings in the Pentagon and inviting Christian Nationalist leader Douglas Williams cannot be tolerated. Hegseth is forcing his extremist religious views on others and intimidating military personnel. 

On X, he reversed suspension of the errant AH-64 Apache helicopter pilots who circled Trump supporter Kid Rock's home. "No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots.” This shows a flippant attitude and failure to enforce military standards.

Instead of defending our democracy he is ransacking the military with his anti-LGBTQ and anti-DEI orders. In the middle of an unlawful war why did he fire meritorious officers Army Chief of Staff, Gen. Randy George, Maj. Gen. William Green Chaplain, and the commanding general of Army Transformation and Training Command, David Hodne?

Hegseth is a pompous patriarchal male who claims meritorious requirements in the military while he is incompetent, without merit and is destroying morale. How can Republican leadership expect the U.S. military to follow any order from him?

Check your voter registration. Elect leaders who will follow the Constitution, restore diversity, equity and inclusion, and defend democracy. Vote blue.
