IRAN: If it gets a nuke, then what?
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 1 month, 1 week AGO
Have to comment on John Mushlitz’s letter published April 3. He addresses the people killed in the current military Iranian action. Some obviously tragic.
I ask Mr. Mushlitz what would he do?
The recent citizen uprising has killed many Iranians with estimates reaching as high as 30,000 to 36,500.
Iran has seen a dramatic increase in the use of the death penalty. By the end of 2025, over 2,000 executions were recorded, the highest since the late 1980s. Many were for non-lethal offenses like drug trafficking or vaguely defined national security crimes like moharebeh (“waging war against God).
Attacks on USA have been going on for decades by Iran or its proxies, for example:
• Bombing the Marine barracks in Beirut that left 220 Marines dead.
• A suicide car bombing kills 63 people, including 17 Americans, at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
• Iran-backed Hezbollah Al-Hijaz terrorists killed 19 U.S. Airmen and wounded nearly 500 others in a truck bombing at a U.S. Air Force housing complex in Saudi Arabia.
• Iran-backed Hamas terrorists killed 46 Americans and kidnapped at least 12 Americans in the October 7th massacre.
Just a few examples of scores committed again the “Great Satin” who Iran has openly declared war on.
We tried negotiation and bribes over the years to no avail.
So, Iran gets a nuke. Then what?
Again, I ask Mr. Mushlitz, what would he do?
