Legislative town halls on Friday, Saturday

Two legislative town halls are coming up.

Candlelight Christian Fellowship is hosting its second legislative wrap-up from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. About 10 North Idaho legislators will share highlights from the recent legislative session and take questions from the audience.

"This is a great opportunity to hear directly from local legislators and engage with key issues impacting our region," a press release said.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Candlelight is at 5725 N. Pioneer Drive.

A second town hall is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at The Altar Church, 901 Best Ave. The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee sponsors it.

The public is welcome at both events.
