Susan Marie Dofelmire went to rest with the Lord on March 26, 2026.
She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep connection. If you had the privilege of meeting her, you never forgot her.
Suzi loved her husband, George, with her whole heart — right up to her final breath. She cherished her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, each one held close in her prayers and in her joy.
Among her family’s most treasured keepsakes are the delicate snowflakes she crocheted every Christmas. Over the years, she shared them not only with family, but with coworkers and friends who came to treasure them just as deeply. Every stitch carried her love, her patience, and her quiet devotion. They remain a reminder of her hands, her heart, and the beauty she brought into the world.
Suzi was also an avid quilter. As her children grew and moved on, she transformed their old rooms into quilting and craft spaces—little sanctuaries where she poured her creativity and love into every piece she made.
Her legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and unwavering love. Her greatest gift was the way she accepted every person exactly where they were, without judgment. She is preceded in rest by her husband George, and many family member and beloved friends. She is survived by her eight children; their spouses, children, and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at noon Sunday, April 12th, 2026 at The Back Room in Columbia Falls,. Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is caring for the family.
