The Columbia Falls tennis team has strength in numbers this year, with 24 boys and 24 girls filling the rosters.
On the girls side, look for good things from Alanis Petersen, Bailey Windauer, Ella Heppner and two freshmen in Brielle Archuletta and Bailey LaVallee to name a few.
William Oberholtzer should be the top player for the boys squad, but they have a lot of good athletes from other sports, particularly from the varsity soccer squad.
Coach Michele Colliander is assisted by Koahl DeShazer for the boys and Hannah Schweikert for the girls.
Schweikert was a standout athlete when she was in high school at Columbia Falls a few years ago and excelled at tennis as well as several other sports.
The Wildcats open the on the road Friday in Dillon and then next week face Glacier and Flathead April 14 on the road.
Their first home match is April 16 against Polson and Libby in a doubleheader. Matches start at 10 a.m.
