Flathead Valley Community College's Theatre and Music departments are presenting "Into the Woods," a spellbinding musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine that intertwines beloved fairy tales into a fresh, thought-provoking adventure.

When a baker and his wife set out to break a witch’s curse, they cross paths with Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel — each pursuing their own wish. As their stories collide deep in the woods, dreams come true, but not without unexpected consequences.

Blending humor, heart and hauntingly beautiful music, Into the Woods explores the cost of ambition, the power of community and what it truly means to live happily ever after.

"Into the Woods" is presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

Performances are April 16-18 and 23-25 at 7 p.m. in the Joe Legate Black Box Theatre located in the Arts and Technology Building. Tickets are available online at fvcc.edu/theatre or at the box office one hour prior to each performance.

Tickets are $20 general admission and $15 seniors and free for students.
