Flathead Lake Cherry Growers Annual Meeting – 9 a.m. April 11 at the Yellow Bay Community Clubhouse, 23429 Hwy. 35; the organization’s 88th annual meeting is open to anyone interested in growing quality Flathead cherries. The Montana Bumble Bee Atlas – 6 p.m. April 15 at Ninepipes Lodge, south of Ronan; Michelle Toshack, an endangered species conservation biologist, explores the ecology of Montana’s bumblebees and how community scientists are helping fill critical data gaps and guiding conservation. Admission is free.

El Javi – Eclectic Acoustic Fusion – 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. April 15 at the North Lake County Public Library in Polson and 7 p.m. April 15 at the Pearl Theater, 410 Main St. SW, Ronan. El Javi is a gifted North American guitarist who explores instrumental music, transcending the confines of traditional music genres. The Denver-based composer, producer and performer incorporates elements of flamenco, progressive rock, classical, folk and world music in his compositions. “Avian biodiversity of the Flathead Nation” – 7 p.m. April 16 at the North Lake County Library in Polson; Cara Thompson presents this installment of the Mission Mountain Audubon’s community program. Admission is free and the public is welcome.

Democrat Candidate Roundtable – 7 p.m. April 16 at Salish Kootenai College Theatre; Lake County Democrats are hosting a roundtable with MT-1 Congressional candidates Ryan Busse, Russell Cleveland, Sam Forstag and Matt Rains. Cowboy Ball – 5:30 p.m. April 17 at the Polson Fairgrounds; 34th annual western-themed fundraiser for Polson Fairgrounds Inc. includes a social hour, prime-rib banquet, silent auction, live auction, cocktails and dancing.
