One arrested for drive-by shooting in Moses Lake

One man has been charged with a drive-by shooting in connection with an incident early Thursday morning in Moses Lake.

MOSES LAKE — A drive-by shooting was reported to the Moses Lake Police Department on Thursday morning at around 12:30 a.m. at West Gary Street and North Buell Street.
According to the MLPD records, the vehicle was located fleeing the scene, and occupants fled on foot. Officers were able to detain three of four subjects.
The case is still under investigation. The case was listed as a juvenile problem.
18-year-old Ayden Alexander Doak was booked into Grant County Jail on drive-by shooting and third-degree assault, according to the Grant County Jail Roster. As of Thursday afternoon, he does not have a listed bail amount. No further information was available by press time.

AC Sheriff Wagner to run for reelection

He cited the ACSO’s work to upgrade the jail, update equipment and training and work with youth among his successes.
