Friday, April 25 at the Libby Memorial Center, the Lincoln County chapter of the Foundation for Wildlife Management will host its fourth annual fundraising banquet.
The Foundation for Wildlife Management is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting ungulate population recovery in areas negatively impacted by wolves, assisting state wildlife agencies in meeting wolf management objectives, supporting youth involvement in the outdoors and educating the public on the impacts wolf reintroduction has had on ungulate populations.
The banquet is a family-friendly event with a variety of games for both youth and adults, with prizes that often include firearms.
In addition to the games, attendees can participate in general raffles, as well as silent and live auctions featuring a wide range of items. Sponsor tables will also have the opportunity to select a firearm from the event’s gun wall.
Doors open at 3 p.m., with a prime rib dinner served at 5 p.m., followed by the evening’s auctions. A couples package is available for $220 and includes two dinners, one membership, and 50 general raffle tickets. Additional ticket and table options are available at varying price points.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.F4WM.org under the Events tab, or in person at the Libby VFW, Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 5 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to support local wolf trappers and conservation efforts by attending, donating, or volunteering.
