Woman dies in crash near Mullan

The Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash that happened about 2 a.m. Friday on Interstate 90 near Mullan.
A semi-truck driven by a 30-year-old man from Mountlake Terrace, Wash., was eastbound when it struck a 49-year-old Kellogg woman in the roadway around milepost 64. The woman died at the scene and has not been identified, an ISP press release said.
The eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 were blocked for about three and a half hours while emergency responders and investigators worked at the scene, the release said.
