The City of Whitefish seeks to recognize local businesses demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
The Green Business Award celebrates businesses within Whitefish city limits that actively minimize their environmental impact through sustainable practices and educate employees and customers about eco-friendly choices in daily life.
Whitefish businesses applying for the award can submit their applications online at www.cityofwhitefish.gov. The application period is open through May 8. One winner will be selected, but additional businesses may be recognized for their environmental commitment.
A judging panel comprising members of the Sustainable Tourism Management Plan committee and the Climate Action Plan committee will select the winner and any additional honorees.
The Green Business Award winner will be announced at a community town hall on May 19.
