'Loyalty and enthusiasm'
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 3 days, 12 hours AGO
This week, amid the hum of the bottling line, Coeur d’Alene Cellars announced a landmark collaboration with The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
To celebrate a decade of partnership and several major milestones for the iconic local destination, Coeur d’Alene Cellars has produced a series of custom-labeled wines that honor the "Fine Art of Wine" and the spirit of North Idaho.
As Coeur d’Alene Cellars approaches its own 25th anniversary next year, owner and local Kimber Travis wanted to use this year’s vintage to shine a spotlight on the community that has supported the winery since its inception.
"Having grown up here in Coeur d’Alene, I have a profound appreciation for what these institutions mean to our town," Travis said.
Celebrating shared milestones
The new releases feature bespoke label designs, crafted by local designer Katie Linder, tailored to The Resort’s significant 2026 anniversaries. To honor these milestones, Coeur d’Alene Cellars has produced a signature Red Blend and a crisp Chardonnay for each commemorative label:
• The Coeur d’Alene Resort (40th Anniversary): Celebrating 40 years of world-class hospitality on the lake featuring a Red Blend and a Chardonnay.
• The Coeur d’Alene Resort Spa (30th Anniversary): Commemorating 30 years of award-winning relaxation and wellness.
• The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course: Featuring a stunning custom label for both the Red Blend and Chardonnay, with original artwork by local artist Nick Link depicting the world-famous 14th Hole Floating Green.
A partnership rooted in community
For 10 years, Coeur d’Alene Cellars, founded in 2002, has been the exclusive wine producer for The Resort’s house labels. This year’s project, however, is deeply personal.
"This partnership isn't just about business; it’s about two local entities working together to thank the community and the guests who have shown us such incredible loyalty and enthusiasm over the decades," Travis said.
