Law roundup: Business tries to piece together Lego theft

Multiple Lego sets valued at $1,020 were allegedly stolen from a business.

A driver allegedly hit a bicyclist, who was lying in the roadway, bleeding from her forehead and nose. The driver reportedly told Kalispell Police Department officers that he was driving at 20-30 mph.

Officers received a report about a burst water pipe on West Wyoming Street from a driver who allegedly said the water was gushing out and getting deep, creating a traffic hazard. The driver reportedly called the City of Kalispell Public Works Department and the Water Department several times to report the burst pipe, but only got voicemail. 

A man’s allegedly erratic driving concerned someone who told officers he was speeding through the neighborhood and looked like he was on drugs. The Nissan he was driving was reportedly last seen on Meridian Road.

A passerby reportedly asked officers to check on a woman and a choking 2-year-old standing in the middle of the road. The passerby said the child vomited before they both got into a silver SUV and drove off on U.S. 93 North.

Officers impounded a green bicycle with pink wheels and a black seat that had reportedly sat on a corner for more than a week.

A woman reportedly returned home from shopping and noticed two small cracks on the front bumper of her vehicle. 

A blue Ford Mustang with a broken-out back window and a flat tire was allegedly abandoned on Fourth Avenue East near an elementary school.

Officers placed a notice on a vehicle with four flat tires to move within 72 hours.

Someone reportedly followed a driver who was all over the road and making “improper stops.”

Someone allegedly heard a crying woman screaming “stop” and heard slamming sounds in a residence bordering Rails to Trails. Officers contacted all parties who declined assistance.
