Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s annual Winefest returns Saturday, April 18, from 1 to 6 p.m.

“Winefest offers our local community an opportunity to come together while experiencing everything our businesses have to offer,” said Emily Boyd, executive director of the Downtown Coeur d'Alene Association. “It’s the perfect time to connect, explore and support locally owned businesses in the heart of our community.”

People can enjoy sampling local and regional wines, paired with gourmet bites crafted by some of the area’s favorite local chefs, including those from Honey Eatery & Social Club and Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery.

"Don’t miss the chance to sip, savor, and stroll through Downtown while rediscovering the local businesses that make Downtown Coeur d’Alene so special," a press release said.

Guests who indulge in the VIP experience will enjoy exclusive pairings such as:

• Tonnarelli alla Gricia with Guanciale from Giuseppe’s Pasta Posto, paired with a Syrah from Rosemary Manor

• Peaches & Cream Cheesecake Pops from Sweet Sisters Desserts, paired with a Late Harvest Riesling from Jovinea Cellars and more.

In addition to pairings, attendees can enjoy live music throughout tasting locations, offerings like permanent jewelry and tattoos at CDA Garment District, a photobooth at Quiksilver Studios, and in-store promotions.

VIP and Wine & Bite tickets are available at cdadowntown.com/cda-events/winefest

Check-in will be at the Plaza Shops, 210 E. Sherman Avenue, where additional pairings and wine glass holder lanyards will be available for purchase.
