NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has determined, pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-2808(2), that only one source is reasonably available to provide the equipment required for the City Wastewater Department’s Tertiary Membrane Filtration (TMF) Expansion Phase 5C.3A Project and the FY 2027 TMF Equipment Replacement Projects. The specified vendor and equipment are as follows: • Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, Inc. • ZeeWeed 500EV RX Membrane Filtration System The City has determined that Veolia is the sole source for this procurement due to existing site constraints, current tank and building configurations, and the need for compatibility with existing TMF equipment, instrumentation, and control systems. This determination also reflects the necessity of maintaining consistency with current wastewater operations and maintenance practices to achieve and sustain tertiary treatment levels in compliance with the City’s IPDES permit limits.
