COEUR d’ALENE — A teen accused of raping an intoxicated woman last year is facing a felony charge.

Isaiah S. Hendrickson, 18, is charged with rape.

The charge stems from last May, when a woman reported to police that Hendrickson sexually assaulted her during a house party in Coeur d’Alene.

The woman told investigators that she had consumed alcohol at the party and had difficulty remembering the alleged assault but described being in a bathroom with a man who police later identified as Hendrickson, according to court records

The woman said she suspected she had been raped due to the state of her clothes, some of which were inside-out, and injuries she had sustained. A medical examination confirmed the woman’s injuries, according to court records.

A witness told police that she had gone looking for the woman during the party and found her in a bathroom with multiple other people. At that time, the witness said, the woman was “nearly passed out” and slow to respond to questions.

Another party attendee told investigators that he saw Hendrickson and the woman leave the bathroom together and the woman appeared intoxicated.

In private messages with an attendee who accused him of assaulting the woman, Hendrickson appeared to allude to sexual activity that involved the woman, according to court records.

Police obtained a warrant for Hendrickson’s DNA and tested it against DNA samples collected from the woman’s clothing. In December 2025, analysis found that Hendrickson was a “potential contributor” to the DNA mixture found on the clothing, according to court records.

Kootenai County prosecutors charged Hendrickson with rape last week and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Hendrickson has since posted $100,000 bail.
