Boys edge Dillon in tennis season opener

The Columbia Falls tennis season got underway last week. The boys edged Dillon 4-3, while the girls were nipped by the Beavers 4-3.
Both teams blanked Ronan, 7-0.
Sol Masters got a win in No. 2 singles over Ben Lund. Against Ronan, the doubles squad of Alanis Petersen and Madi Yerian beat Hosanna Wilson and Emily Skare, 6-0, 6-0.
In boys singles, Pablo Perles moved up to No. 1 singles and dropped Rowan Parks 6-1, 6-1.
