Women meet

Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will host a luncheon on Wednesday, April 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church located at 827 9th St West in Columbia Falls. Guest speakers will be Shayna Kyle from Badrock Farmers Market and Karen Spalding, a personal wellness consultant from Post Falls, Idaho. Donations of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products will be collected for the Veterans Food Pantry. Cost is $10 and all women are welcome to attend. Alzheimer’s talk

Join the Montana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and Immanuel Living for a free community presentation. Local organizations, including the Flathead Area Agency on Aging, will be present to share information about their resources for supporting loved ones with dementia and caregivers.

On Thursday, April 30th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., come to the Immanuel Living Auditorium at 40 Claremont Street, (The Terraces at Buffalo Hill building), in Kalispell for the latest updates on Alzheimer’s research, risk reduction, early detection, and quality care. Immanuel Living is hosting a free breakfast at 9 a.m. before the presentation.

FEC meeting

Flathead Electric Cooperative is hosting its signature event this week on Thursday, April 16 at the Wachholz College Center at Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell.

Free and open to all members of Flathead Electric, the Annual Meeting and Energy Expo serves as the Co-op’s premier gathering, bringing everyone together to connect with their Board of Trustees and Co-op staff and discuss the future of energy in Northwest Montana. The Expo opens at 3:30 p.m. and the business meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. 

The Co-op is providing a complimentary dinner for all attendees and hosting a variety of engaging activities. This year, Flathead Electric leaders are encouraging members to submit questions beforehand, and Co-op staff will answer questions during the meeting.
