Police Calls: Man obstructs cyclists on sidewalk

March 30 

There were about a dozen traffic stops in five hours. 

The caller reported that a lot of weird activity happens on Saturdays on Granite Drive. 

April 1 

A driver on Highway 93 was swerving between lanes and nearly hit the caller. 

A small black dog was running loose on Wedgewood Lane. 

An apparently drunken male with a cane and an open alcoholic beverage didn’t seem to notice he was blocking traffic as he walked around the caller’s car a couple times on Baker Avenue. 

The driver of a pickup truck was seen swerving all over the road on Highway 93. 

A male wearing a trucker hat and plaid shirt refused to leave a business on Central Avenue with his dog but eventually did leave. 

April 2 

An older, white male was reportedly stepping in front of bikes on the sidewalks and yelling at cyclists. The caller was concerned the man might get hurt. 

April 3 

One or two loud motorcycles were riding in the Baker Avenue area. 

About six or s people who had been drinking were involved in a conflict. The caller was punched and had a busted lip.  

Someone reported hearing 20 minutes of screaming coming from a field near Spruce Court. 

April 4 

A medium sized black dog was reported missing from East Second Street. 

Males were advised of the open container ordinance. 

A female was counseled on her behavior before walking home with a friend. 

A male wearing all black was trying to start fights on Central Avenue. 

April 5 

A tiny dog running around Emerald Drive was returned to his owner. 

April 6 

Someone reported hearing gunshots on Kinnikinnik Circle. Six were heard, then 20 more after a five-minute pause. 

A two-ton truck was seen weaving through traffic on East Blanchard Lake Road, speeding and riding the tails of other cars. 

A group of teens were seen swearing and throwing a football at people on the beach. They were also reportedly swinging a stick around close to children and throwing rocks. 

The caller reported a reckless driver in a white Subaru.
