Track season gets underway at Kalispell, Hamilton

Peyton Ross won the long jump at the Kalispell Invitational last week with a 16-10.5 leap.

Joe West won the javelin in Hamilton Saturday with a 161-5 throw.

Also in Kalispell, Aiyers Powell took third in the 800 meters. Miles Colliander was third in the 110 hurdles and seventh in the 300 hurdles. Dylan Owens was fourth in the high jump with a 4-10 leap.

Tristan Archuletta was fourth in the pole vault with a 10-0 even. Easton Brooks was third in the long jump with a 21-2 and second in the triple jump with a 42-1.

On the girls side, Mila Johns was fourth in the 800. Kaydence Reagan was sixth in the 300 hurdles.

The Kats were fifth in the 1600 relay. Rachell Ruther was fourth in the shot put with a 31-2.5. Ross was third in the pole vault with a 7-6 and Luciana Kress took fifth with a 7-0.

Rylee Sweeney was fifth in the triple jump with a 33-025.

At Hamilton Saturday, Jett Brandeberry took fifth in the 100 with a 11.74. Colliander was third in the 110 hurdles for the second time in a week. The Cats took third in the 400 relay. 

Joe West was fifth in the discus. Brooks to second in the long jump. Johns took sixth in the 1,600. Soli Bullemer was second in the pole vault with a 10-8.
