Money Williams, the two-time all-Big Sky Conference guard who spent three seasons at the University of Montana, has committed to Boston College, several media outlets reported on Thursday.

ESPN’s Jeff Borzello was among the first to report the commitment. Williams averaged a Big Sky-leading 20.6 points per game last season, along with 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. The 6-foot-4 guard helped the Grizzlies to the 2025 NCAA Tournament; this past season the Griz fell to Idaho in the Big Sky Tournament championship game.

The social media outlet League Ready (@LeagueRDY on Twitter/X.com) reported Wednesday that Williams had narrowed his transfer choices down to BC, Santa Clara, UNLV, Missouri and Saint Mary’s.

Boston College is coming off an 11-20 season under Earl Grant, who was dismissed after five seasons in which the Eagles finished no higher than 10th in the ACC.

The Eagles hired Luke Murray, son of actor Bill Murray, on March 26. Murray spent the previous five seasons at UConn; a top-flight recruiter, he has landed two players from the transfer portal — Williams and JB Frankel from nearby Northeastern — along with international player Zak Smrekar of Slovenia.
