Paradise Valley fire district to host community chili feed April 18

The Paradise Valley Volunteer Fire District will host a community chili feed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Paradise Valley main fire station, 2492 Paradise Valley Road. 

The event will feature chili with all the fixings, and donations will be appreciated. Organizers say the gathering is an opportunity for community members to meet their neighbors and volunteer firefighters who help protect the area. 

Families and friends are encouraged to attend. 

The district is always looking for volunteers and organizers said that the chili feed is a good opportunity to meet the chief and other firefighters.
