The Libby Wrestling Club’s Greenchain wrestlers finished the Western Montana Little Guy season in Polson April 3-4 with four champions and 22 other place winners at the 2026 Western Montana Championships.

The Greenchain coaches are proud of the effort each competitor made, working hard, showing grit and dedication.

The season is a short six weeks and there is so much for the young athletes to learn. Coaches from the Novice, Middle and Junior age divisions were pleased with the way the season ended. Peewee and Beginner ages did not compete at the final event.

Libby Wrestling Club is already looking forward to next season and is excited for the potential this team shows. With off-season competitions and camps in the mix, Greenchain will continue to develop.

Earning a spot on the podium is not an easy feat and requires the wrestlers to put in lots of time and effort.

The Greenchain crowned four champions, including Izaac Dixon, Teegan Gillespie, Waylon Katzer and Cash Katzer.

They also had 22 place winners.

Placing second were Elijah Gran, Joel Heileson, Khori Skeers, Darra McAllister and Steven Delarosa.

Taking third were Jake Roberts, Brogan Burton, Noah Scofield, Alexander Tsirigotis and Ryder Rebo.

Finishing fourth were Maya Heileson, Journee Ames, Malachi Myer, Rebeka Sanford, Bridger Rebo, Mason Eckart, Tysin Lackrone and Caston Smith.

Libby Wrestling Club is grateful to be a part of all the wrestlers’ development. We are proud and want to give further congratulations to these championship placers who found the way to earn a medal!

Special thanks to all those who gave their time and energy to the 2026 season, including wrestlers, coaches, families, friends and sponsors.
