Judy Kay Poole, 79, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home Dec. 23, 2025. She was born Sept. 9, 1946, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to George and Pauline McCrimmon.

Judy was raised in Coeur d’Alene and Dalton Gardens, where she developed a lifelong love for the outdoors, animals and nature. Family was the heart of her life. She was a devoted mother to her three sons, Kenneth, Kent and James Poole, and a proud grandmother to Marisa and Riley Poole, and great-grandmother to Ava, Annika and Hunter Poole. 

Known for her kindness and generosity, Judy had a special gift for making others feel welcomed and loved. She enjoyed simple pleasures such as bowling, camping, planting flowers and spending time at Honeysuckle Beach, always cherishing moments with family and friends.

Judy dedicated 32 years to public service as an accounts payable clerk in the Kootenai County Auditor’s Office, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and compassion.
