SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Marine is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a community celebration.

Part sale and part celebration, the event is being held today and Sunday, April 17-18, at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, 4203 N. Boyer Road.

The sale includes all powersport items in stock, from personal watercraft and boats to four-wheelers, side-by-sides and dirt bikes on the wide variety of brands. Many of the items are below dealer costs, Sandpoint Marine officials said.

"This is a local appreciation sale to give back to our local community and offer unbeatable prices never seen before," Dan Phillips said. "We are celebrating 50 years of serving our local community."

Doorbuster giveaways will be given to the first 100 people.

Sandpoint Marine officials said the community has been key to the company's success and want to thank residents with the celebration.

"We have been your go to for everything adrenaline since 1976 and now we are slashing prices like never before," Phillips said.

That means deep discounts on boats and "clearance madness" prices on select items, Phillips said.

"This isn't just a sale; it's our thank you for every muddy trail and beautiful sunny lake day you begged for," he said. "Because 50 years means we're having this party and you deserve the deals. Sandpoint Marine and Motorsports still thrilling you since 1976."

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
