National Day of Prayer event in Libby May 7

The Libby Evangelical Association of Pastors is sponsoring a celebration May 7 for the 75th National Day of Prayer Lee Gehring Legion Baseball Field in Libby.

The event begins at 6 p.m.

"As we celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, the 75th National Day of Prayer offers a sacred moment for Americans to unite in purpose and reflect on our shared heritage," Libby Church of God pastor Rich Cloyed said. "On May 7, the communities of Libby and Troy will gather at Lee Gehring Legion Baseball Field in Libby at 6 p.m. to honor this year’s theme of glorifying God through the generations. 

The 2026 Theme is “Glorify God Among the Nations – Seeking Him in All Generations” based on 1 Chronicles 16:24: “Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” 

This hour long event, sponsored by Libby Evangelical Association of Pastors, will include speakers, music and prayer.

Libby experimental aircraft association meeting May 12

An Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) is forming a chapter at the Libby airport.

Its first meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, in the pilot's lounge. 

Anyone from 15 to 95 years of age is welcome to attend. Our mission is to help people become a pilot as well as to build a real full-size airplane!!
