ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Trey Blumenberg, Sandpoint Track & Field

This week's Athlete of the Week is Trey Blumenberg of Sandpoint Track & Field.

A junior, Trey finished fifth out of 60 in the 100-meter dash (11.05) and eighth out of 50 in the 200-meter dash (22.72), both of which were new personal bests, at Cheney High's Van Kuren Invite. The standout speedster was also part of the Bulldogs' gold-medal 4x100 relay (42.34) that broke a school, meet and venue record, and the winning 4x200 relay (1:29.98), which also broke a meet and venue record.
