Folk, blues and country take the stage at Create Art Center

Create Art Center will be filled with the sounds of music as the Blue Ribbon Tea Company and Laddie Ray Melvin are set to perform in concert Saturday, April 25.

 The Blue Ribbon Tea Company and Laddie Ray Melvin are known for their folk, blues, country and original music to the stage.

The concert will begin at 6 p.m. at the center, 900 W. Fourth St., Newport.

Multi‑instrumentalists Bill and Kathy Kostelec perform original folk, blues and country music. They organize and perform at festivals across the Northwest, including events honoring Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger. Melvin brings a heartfelt, honest acoustic sound to his music. These seasoned professionals perform music spanning decades.

Advance tickets are $15, or $20 at the door. Students are admitted free.
