NEWPORT — Two trusted local real estate brands are coming together under one roof to better serve the region.

Pend Oreille Realty and Liberty Lane Investments & Realty will celebrate the grand opening of their shared office, The Real Estate Collective, on Friday, April 24, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at 317 S. Washington Ave. in downtown Newport.

The Real Estate Collective reflects a collaborative approach to real estate across Northeast Washington and North Idaho. Designed as a shared space between Pend Oreille Realty and Liberty Lane Investments & Realty, the office brings together two experienced teams with a shared commitment to professionalism, service and community.

Led by Cody Abbott and Breonna Albro Ferguson, who bring more than 18 years of combined real estate experience, the teams work together to combine their knowledge and local expertise in support of clients throughout Washington and Idaho.

The Real Estate Collective will serve as a hub for buyers, sellers, investors, landlords and tenants, offering a centralized location where clients can access a wide range of real estate services. By bringing both teams together, the office enhances collaboration, expands expertise and improves accessibility for clients across the region. The teams also serve as a trusted local resource, connecting clients and the community with reputable contractors and service providers, from electricians to home builders and other local professionals.

“This grand opening is more than just opening an office,” said Cody Abbott, owner of Pend Oreille Realty. “It is about creating a place where people can come for guidance, clarity and trusted advice at every stage of their real estate journey. By bringing our teams together, we are strengthening the level of service available to our community.”

Breonna Albro Ferguson, owner of Liberty Lane Investments & Realty, added, “The Real Estate Collective was created with community at its core, designed to better support both our clients and our teams. Together, our goal is to strengthen our neighborhoods, support local growth and create positive, lasting impact for the communities we serve.”

The grand opening is designed as a true community event, featuring local partnerships, giveaways and family‑friendly activities.

Each attendee will receive a movie ticket to the 7:30 p.m. showing at the Newport Roxy Theater, along with a coupon for free ice cream at Owen’s Grocery, Deli & Soda Fountain and a 10 percent discount and free bracelet from Shanty Boutique.

Attendees will also be able to enter free raffles featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses, including Stateline Electric, Skeeter Beater, The Club, My Sidewalk Cafe, Inspire Dance Academy, Graceful Aesthetics, TLC Pet Boarding and more. These raffles reflect the strong local support behind the event and offer a fun way to celebrate the community together.

The Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon‑cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.

In keeping with their commitment to community investment, Pend Oreille Realty and Liberty Lane Investments & Realty will conduct check presentations to local nonprofit organizations, including the Family Crisis Network and the Pend Oreille Playhouse.

“This event is our way of saying thank you,” Albro Ferguson said. “We are proud to serve this region and excited to continue building relationships that extend far beyond real estate.”

“We believe strong communities build strong businesses,” Abbott added. “Supporting local nonprofits and partnering with fellow small businesses is part of who we are.”
